What Would You Do on a Wednesday Afternoon?
Oh, what would you do on a Wednesday at one
With an afternoon filled up with free choices to choose?
Would you sing? Would you dance? Would you build something new?
Or let your imagination run bright and true?
Perhaps you’d be drawing, or painting with flair,
Or planting pretend flowers way up in the air.
Or coding a game where the hero’s a duck,
Who wiggles and waddles and sometimes gets stuck!
Would you mix up some colors, creating at will,
On a canvas, or paper, with your own special skill?
Or draw up a story that’s bubbly and bold,
With magical fairies and castles of gold?
Or maybe you’d dive into puzzles and codes,
With patterns and pathways and curious modes.
You’d spot how things work, take them apart,
And build something new with a curious heart!
Or maybe you’d settle in, cozy and tight,
With a good book to read till the day turns to night.
And think of big wonders and places to roam,
With dragons and giants you’d meet on your own.
Or maybe there’s dance class, a quick grocery run,
Or a visit to Grandma’s for snacks and some fun.
Our Wednesdays leave room for what life brings your way,
With learning that fits how you live, work, and play!
For Wednesdays at New Code, we all get to pick—
No “this way” or “that way” or “quick, finish quick!”
With choices galore and our teachers nearby,
We’re set to explore and reach for the sky.
So what would you do on a Wednesday like that,
With time for creating, exploring, or chat?
The sky’s not the limit—there’s so much to explore!
With Wednesdays at New Code, who knows what’s in store?
